I think you will understand the value of reliability after Max fails to finish another 3 races in a row because of poor reliability... Please don't get carried away it's a very long season. At The Australian Grand Prix, red bull struggled with both tire degradation and reliability. Those problems are never far away . The circuits are different both in character and in asphalt.11-05-2022 22:20

Max fanboys are very interesting. They are getting too ahead of themselves. Charl lost out due to the poor start and he was stuck behind Checco all the way, so that protected Marx. For the Sprint Race, for 95% of the race, the Ferrari was quicker, until he ran into that graining problem. The Ferrari was quicker during the wet practice as well. As far as I am concerned, this one is too close to call. Even at Jedder, RBR didn't exactly trouble the Ferrari until the VSC, and Charl lost tyre temperature. So I do not personally believe that Max is that much faster than the Ferrari. I dont.05-05-2022 22:25

I think you are being too critical. Did you see the crush hamilton had in the race last year? What about Vertappen at Jedder during quali 3? All drivers are prone to making mistakes as and when. The same Le Clerc beat Max at Bahrain ...30-04-2022 14:36

The monocoque has already been homologated, and so is the ICE. The hybrid portion of the PU will be homologated in September. There is a budget cap, and a limit on the number of PUs a team can use before it starts incurring penalties ........ I am not sure how much weight will the teams be able to shed off really ....12-04-2022 04:30

I am sure they said the same about Ferrari and Schuey in 2005 ... sometimes things don't always turn around that quickly hey ... especially with a budget cap, limited CFD, testing and wind tunnel hours ... the PU development freeze isn't helping either .... that's why I dislike what they have done to the sport .... too many restrictions ... so if a team makes a mistake, the road to recovery is tough ....31-03-2022 20:53

fastest? really? they were fastest in the speed traps .... the straights .... , and they were slower in the twisty sector 1 .... what does that tell you? .... it means they went for the lower downforce setup .... and did you notice that ferrari were not that far off in sectors 2 and three? the net result was that Leclerc was able to keep the RBR at bay ... until the VSC ... and tyres lost temperature ....31-03-2022 20:47

The way I saw it, if it wasn't for that VSC, Leclerc would have won that Saudi GP .... I don't see two equal cars, I see a faster Ferrari, and Red Bull following. F1 is like this, its not always the fastest guy who wins .....31-03-2022 20:43
